U-100

U-100 denotes a standard insulin concentration of 100 units per millilitre and, by extension, the syringe scale calibrated to it. On a U-100 syringe, one millilitre is divided into 100 graduated units, a scale often referenced for measuring small liquid volumes in the laboratory.
