Reconstitution

Reconstitution is the process of returning a lyophilised (freeze-dried) solid to solution by adding a suitable liquid diluent. In peptide research it refers to dissolving a dry peptide powder in an appropriate solvent to obtain a solution of known concentration for laboratory analysis.
